Ouincy Edwards, The 9th Legend, formerly known as 9th HipHop, was born July 9,1981. In Shreveport, Louisiana. He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of twelve. Where he began making music at the age of 14 years old. He was taught by his Uncle Jose the art and technique of the style.
