I've been doing Spoken Word at The Shadow Bar for the last 4 yrs. I have also sung back up for artists such as G-Rik, and neo-soul artist Joe Lee McCoy. Inhale my brainwaves, intensely, Smooth like a chocolaty candy Seduce me from my insides, to my outsides, Let's take a total mental galactic ride, on this, stimulating love high... Red Wine Spilled some Red Wine and found that it didn't stain Took my towel and scrubbed till no blot of it remained thinking, it would ruin my blouse or saturate my couch let me tell you, everyone of those colors came out. Then it submerged me with a deeper thought, that hidden and underlying was a true clue, that I had been relying on my past, which ran deeper than the stains from my wine glass. And I couldn't just get my rag and wipe away their colors for each and every last one had a root that stemmed deep from one another. I felt I couldn't just clean them away, so me, had been dragging them around like luggage and suitcases day to day And it seemed as if everyone around would suggest this temporary fix which removed me from my drudgery for one moment. And 24 hrs later, I, was back at the beginning, hurting, still searching to finalize. Could I make my troubles disappear like my glass of Red Wine?
